Qualified candidates will have the following responsibilities:
・Work closely with media team, to ensure the analysis sits at the center of the media planning process
・Present findings and recommendations to media planners, buyers, clients and other partner agencies
・Dealing with large amounts of granular information, consolidating and manipulating multiple sources
of data across multiple dimensions
・Building statistical models from ranges of data to solve complex marketing initiatives such as forecasting model,
marketing mix modeling, etc.
・Leveraging our optimization platforms to generate media plans based on analytical models
・Translating analytical output into actionable items and presenting it to people with varied technical backgrounds
・Working with local media teams to ensure analytical results become better marketing solutions and collaborating
with the global team to ensure a smooth workflow and adherence to best-practice
・Ensuring that solutions, systems, and procedures are properly documented
・Always looking for better ways of doing things – better techniques, better solutions, better approaches
・Good working knowledge on mathematics &statistics
・Strong analytical skills with solid foundation and experience in statistical techniques.
・Experience using one of the following platforms: SAS, R, Python, or other statistical applications.
・Strong interpersonal written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate
technical concepts to stakeholders with different backgrounds
・Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
・Familiarity with data management platforms or optimization techniques is a plus
・Knowledge of visualization tool, such as Tableau, Qlikview, GDS is a plus
・Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or any related field
・Japanese: Intermediate or above (level to read and understand Japanese websites and materials)
・English: Business level
